1. About LINIE

LINIE is a digital platform designed to help designers collect, organize, and share product references for design projects. Users may use the platform to:

• Collect product references from external websites
• Organize products into project lists
• Manage project-related information
• Share selected project views with clients via private links

LINIE does not manufacture, sell, distribute, or represent the products displayed through the platform.

2. User Accounts

Certain features of LINIE require creating an account. Users agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Keep their login credentials confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activity under their account

LINIE reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Product Links and Previews

Users may add links to products available on external websites. LINIE may automatically generate previews of those webpages, including images, titles, or descriptions when such information is publicly available.

LINIE does not store or host full copies of third-party product images unless provided directly by users. LINIE displays previews of products from publicly available webpages. All images and product information remain the property of their respective owners.

LINIE does not claim ownership of third-party product images, brand names, trademarks, or product descriptions.

3.1 User-Submitted Links

Users may add links to third-party websites and products. LINIE does not review, verify, or control the content of external webpages submitted by users. Users are responsible for ensuring that the links and content they add do not violate intellectual property rights or applicable laws. LINIE may remove content or links that are reported as infringing or unlawful.

4. External Websites

Products displayed within LINIE may link to external websites operated by third parties. LINIE does not control or endorse these websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, or accuracy. Users access such websites at their own risk.

5. No Affiliation with Brands

LINIE is an independent platform. The appearance of brand names, product names, images, or trademarks on the platform does not imply any affiliation, partnership, endorsement, or sponsorship between LINIE and the respective brands or manufacturers. All trademarks and brand names belong to their respective owners.

6. User Content

Users may add content such as product links, notes, and project information. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to use and share any content they upload. LINIE does not claim ownership of user-generated content. However, by using the platform, users grant LINIE a limited license to store, display, and process such content for the purpose of operating the service.

7. Project Sharing

LINIE allows users to share project views with clients through private links. Users are responsible for determining what information they choose to share. LINIE is not responsible for how shared information is used once it has been shared by the user.

8. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful purposes
• Infringe intellectual property rights
• Attempt to disrupt the service
• Attempt unauthorized data extraction from the platform

LINIE reserves the right to restrict access for users who misuse the service.

9. Service Availability

LINIE may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LINIE shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
